You captured a great sunrise - the clouds in particular were fantastic.

Small nitpick... I think the photographer's signature in the bottom right takes away from it. We're used to such clean images from InterfaceLift.

This is absolutely stunning. I wish I had some place like this close to me. Here's to being there!

I don't see any way it could be improved. Excellent!

Kallinan InterfaceLift should put a watermark in all wallpapers. I had seen guys uploading these wallpapers in devianART as if it was from them, they just change the name.

Thanks.

masterchief you're right, and not only on deviant art. try to google the exact name of a picture hosted here (including for example 02768), and you have a lot of results.

but i have to admit, a signature is something quite odd for this website. surfing here is about to find something really clean, a high quality image without anything but a high quality image. macdesktops put a watermark in every image, top left so in theory under the menubar if not translucent. but this is not something i like, and i haven't take a look at macdesktops maybe since 2003.

plus (i consider you one of the best here, just to let you know) i have to say i didn't download the image just because of the signature, even before reading comments. it was something i usually do automatically, seeing a piece form you and download the higher resolution of it, even if, eventually, it will be never used as a desktop background.

i agree about the needing of some kind of protection. tin eye is not enough to let me say 'you stole this', but a signature is too much. metadata could help, but those could be edited. it's a real issue, and i don't have an answer. i will keep to support you, but sadly i can't see any sort of signature on these perfect shots.

Simply beautiful, must have been breathtaking to be there in person.
The signature only shows up in a few particular resolutions, which kind of defeats the purpose of it being there in the first place. Maybe a small transparent watermark would be effective without detracting too much from the image.

This instantly took my breath away. MasterChief, who is photographing whom? Is there a self-timer involved?

Additionally, I don't mind artists signing their work. I'm sure a Rembrandt painting wasn't ever refused because it bore his signature.

Call me a heretic, but I cloned the photographer out of the image. I think the photographer's presence makes for an interesting element. It would certainly be called for in a framed enlargement; however, as a desktop wallpaper I'm going with the scenery itself. Perhaps later I will change my mind.

Please know that I am in no way questioning your artistic integrity. Your work is beautiful.

What an utterly gorgeous image. I think my jaw actually dropped a little when I was looking at it. About the signature: I totally understand the need for tagging a photo with a signature. It does not bother me much, alltough perhaps I'd like to see the signature a little lower than this. Then again, I'll rather keep seeing images that are this good with visible signatures than not see them at all! :)
