I've long had a crush on San Francisco, despite the distance from there to here, Sydney, Australia. Your photo is a glory and I sat here a long time as you brought back good memories of the place. I love photos that make a feature of the middle distance, the main view, but can catapult the viewer into the details of backyards and houses right under the camera. A great job making a photo which sizzles with life and atmosphere. Thank you for braving the cold to do the business.

Very, very nice shot. I too like the majesty of the background and the intimacy of the foreground--a great formula for interest.
I took the liberty of masking the beautiful deep blue and reducing the saturation of the rest of the image just a hair. Your preferences may differ. Keep up the quality work.
