Frozen Mist

March 2nd, 2012

Taken on a misty morning in Waconia, Minnesota during the unseasonably warm winter this year. I spotted this scene off the road on the way to work one random morning. First submission - be kind.

Canon Digital Rebel XS, Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

simple and nice, sure; the composition is good though with the trees and rough 2 / 3 rule; but it does not wow me or anything,

I think it is great. Reminds me of the cold of winter that I knew as a kid that I don't get whatsoever now that I live in a tropical climate. Thanks for the post.

No need to be nice. It's a good picture. It conveys a bleak winter mood entirely appropriate to the time and location.

Try Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. It will give you a lot more control over image details. In particular, it can enhance image sharpness without creating unpleasant artifacts.

Wow! Beautiful! This was a shot on the way to work not a professional setup and I like it. Thanks for sharing.
