Oregon Hills

March 21st, 2012

I shot this during a recent 15,000 km drive across the United States. It was taken just off I-84 in the hills above Pendleton, Oregon.

Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Great shot. I find it refreshing in its simplicity & clarity. That's three great wallpapers you've had posted, hope to see more!

Oh, and 15,000km?! What did you do, hit the four corners in a big loop? Ye gads.

Glad you like it!

I drove from Toronto to Arizona, up the coast from San Diego to the Washington border and back again with a lot in between.

I really like it as well. I live just down the freeway from there, and conditions have never been right to get a good clear shot from the viewing area for me. Great wallpaper.

Great picture! I have been on the hill many times. It is called Cabbage Hill. In the winter it is really bad to drive on.
