Milky Way Circular Star Trails
April 11th, 2012
Taken near Oberjoch, Bavaria, Germany. The mountain you can see in the image is the Hirschberg, from where I took my picture "Foggy Valley with Milky Way". I hope you like it!
Canon EOS 550D, Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX AF 11-16mm f/2.8. Exposure time was 13 minutes.

Why is there so much motion in this photo? Is it because the stars appear so close to the foreground? I love star trail photography.

@smak910 its because the world is spinning and was taken in Germany, the stars with less trail is closer the north pole.
I really love everything about this photo But
It's a shame there's a fair ammount of grain :(
I use a program called NeatImage, www.neatimage.com. Download it and see if you like it, theres plenty of customisation or even the just presets turn a grainy picture fantastic or maybe instead trying to clean it up, try to exaggerate it? Just a thought

Thank you for your comments.
Yeah Trigger you are right I saw this noise some time after I uploaded it. In the moment when i edited the picture I unfortunately didn't realize that it is this strong.
I will try your programm! Thanks for the tip
