Orange in Aqua

April 24th, 2012

Shot at the Seattle Aquarium. It's quite hard to focus on such a small fish.

Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G, Apple Aperture 3.2.

Great pic! and this is an embarrassing question, as I volunteer at the aquarium, but where was this taken? Im assuming in the Hawaii exhibit.

This is a fantastic shot! I love colourful aquatic life and the contrast between the fish and the background is awesome! I can imagine it was hard to capture such a great shot of this guy, but you did really well. The focus, depth, layout and angle of this shot are perfect. Thanks!

Actually I don't quite remember either.... I think it is in the Hawaii exhibit.
I almost shot every tank in the Aquarium, this is one of quite few which does not blur. It's really hard to take pics of these fish, they are small, and fast.

And remember you were standing still behind the glass, so just imagine how harder it will be to take those pics while diving...
