Some people like HDR; some people don't. This is a beautiful shot, but I think HDR detracts from the subject matter. To my eye it looks too harsh and lacks warmth. Others may respectfully disagree. I don't know if this is a consequence of HDR, but the image lacks air -- hence realism. You are a very good photographer. Your other work speaks for itself.

If I may be permitted to coin a new dictum: Let the image dictate the technique, not the technique dictate the image. Good night and good luck.

Great setting and vantage point. I tend to like HDR and think it makes this photo even more breathtaking. I suppose it is a matter of opinion, but when comparing similar landscape images with and without HDR I tend to prefer the HDR.

This is quite the auspicious shot, you have captured a wonderful scene.

My little qualm when viewing the photo is the austere harshness the HDR brings to the photo. It gives me a slight headache, but I am sure others find the effects of it stark and beautiful.
