Inferno

September 16th, 2012

A fire in Waimea Canyon provided a very vivid sunset. The rays are what first captured my attention, which later turned towards the pastel shades reflected on the water.

Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR.

Photo Settings: 16mm, f/22, 1/13 second, ISO 200.

Good color and setup! The Sky is very nice and the location is good.

But what about clean your lens? :)

Perfect photo so far.

Thanks, I chose to leave the water spots during post. I have other shots without them (earlier in the evening before the spray picked up from the waves) but felt like it was a good element to include since they are only present directly around the sun.

As mentioned, you are good at coloring the sky, The most powerful part of a landscape.

A very beautiful photograph, fabulous colors. Is ther a chance to see the others you mention without the lens spray, perhaps on your website. This is my latest wallpaper.
