Twilight I

September 17th, 2012

Taken just after a glorious sunset. I wanted to capture the way the lights can't fight against the oncoming night.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM.

Photo Settings: 24mm, f/16, 30 seconds, ISO 50.

With my meager photoshop skills I endeavored to have the area of the boardwalk containing highlights to blossom just a bit. I thought it would add more pizzazz. I also thought the great expanse of sky on the left diminished the board walk itself to too great a degree. I humbly suggest a bit of judicious cropping would impart more interest to to the image. Other than that you wouldn't catch me changing a thing.

Keep on clicking and we'll keep on nit-picking. Thanks for you efforts toward photographic excellence. I moment captured is a moment eternalized!

I'm not an expert by no means, I will say I think you captured the moment just great as I like true shots without all the cosmetics. Well done Fuzzypiggy.
