Did you stitch together a dusk picture of the sky at dusk, and one of the traffic at night? It's quite a nifty effect, but it's hard to imagine this is a single exposure.

Very nice photo! It has an unreal look to it, but still somehow realistic. Looks super sharp on the retina Macbook as well. Usually such dusk shots don't hold up sharpness that well, but yours does.

I have always enjoyed good quality cityscape style photographs as desktop images, it really gives you a nice feel as you go about your daily computing, makes you feel like you're out on a skyscraper somewhere seeing the view for yourself. This image is very unique and as mentioned the traffic lights are very surreal looking and it is an incredible effect. The soft dusk tone of the sky is absolutely gorgeous and I love the fade of the shoreline in the distance. Nice work.

No time delay shot could be this sharp, but yet it is. You can't have almost daylight with lights and car headlights, but you have. The more I look at this, the more confused I am.
It really is an unbelievable picture. Stunning to say the least. You have done an amazing job here.
Someone please tell us how this was done.

This "unusual" look could be done through hdr. the photographer may have merge multiple exposures into single photo. I've use this technique all the time and it does produce surreal look to it. The photographer did an outstanding post processing to make it look non-hdr.

Hey,

thanks!

...and yes.. it is a single exposure. I had much luck because i was at 18:30 at the top of the Burj Khalifa. I made about 150 pictures to get this shot.
