Taken in the Maldives just before Christmas at Baros. It takes about six minutes to walk around the entire island. One of the most tropical destinations we've ever visited!

Because it's clearly a very bright sunny day, the very light coloured sand is a little bit bleached out/over exposed so perhaps the image could have benefitted from a small amount of HDR processing to bring out the variations in the sand - it wouldn't have needed all that much and wouldn't make it look unnatural. Doesn't stop me loving the picture though.
