Good morning 2013!

January 13th, 2013

The first sunrise of 2013! I took this off Lanikai Point in Kailua, Hawaii. It was a little scary being out on the rocks with the waves crashing against my tripod. As you can see, it was worth the risk! A great start to the new year!

Adobe Lightroom.

Nikon D600, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR.

Photo Settings: 35mm, f/16, 1/4 second, ISO 100.

I knew where this was as soon as I saw it. I have not seen these two islands photographed from this angle (the photos I have were all taken from the pillboxes on top the hill). Great job getting out on the rocks to get the photo. Love it! Reminds me of a youthful, fun & happy time in my life. Thanks again!
