Toward the Sea

March 23rd, 2013

This picture was taken early in the morning awaiting the sunrise on the horizon. Subtle and soft light painted colorful shapes on the sky and long exposure gave a special feeling to the scene.

Adobe Lightroom 4, Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Nikon D700, Tokina AT-X Pro 11-16mm f/2.8 DX.

I love the calming colors and setting! Would you mind stating where this was taken?

Very nice picture to begin with.
I had just added it in my rotation and noticed the following.
The silhouette on the horizon looked very familiar to me, so if I'm not mistaken you can see the large crane vessel Thialf there. http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/nl/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=353979000
