Milky Way Over Lake William

May 1st, 2013

I shot this wonderful waterscape a couple weeks ago. I had never seen such a beautiful Milky Way in this area, I knew I had to take my camera out. The moon was the only light available and it produced an amazing effect of the lake.

Lake William is Located in Quebec, Canada.

This is beautiful! I love the contrast between the stars and the smooth semi-blurry water.

Very nice, Now how did you manage to photograph the Magellanic clouds from Quebec? They are only visible in the southern hemisphere?

Nice image but do not claim it is a single shot. Some of us are astronomers!

It could be real! Or at least it could be disclosed that it is not.

I thought maybe it was just me -- a wonder of southern skies visible from Canada!

Take it down, or disclose that it isn't a single-shot photo.
