May 5th, 2013
Another photo from my trip in Australia. This picture has been taken on Whitehaven Beach, early in the morning. This is clearly one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Apple Aperture 3.
Canon EOS Rebel XSi, Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
Photo Settings: 15mm, f/10, 1/250 second, ISO 100.

I was there early morning, so it was not warm yet (around 20°C). So I can't approve, but I'm sure it's true.
However, what I could told you is that the sand is SO white ! If it's sunny as on my picture, you're totally blind. And the sand is really thin. I've never touch a sand like that.

Beautiful, and thanks for the answer BloWorld!
also, from WiKi again, seems you're right (and lucky, lol?):
"This sand is also very fine, and can damage electronic equipment such as telephones and cameras..."

Oh, yes, that's true too. If you drop your camera, you can leave it in the sand because it's ruined. This sand is really really thin.

just talking, could you confirm this curiosity from Wiki, BloWorld?
"Unlike regular sand, the sand on Whitehaven Beach does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot on a hot day."
If so, this is even a plus in making that beach one of the most beautiful place in the world, in more than a sense!
