Wallpaper Details: Rockefeller Calls It A Day
Rockefeller calls it a day
By Dominic Kamp
October 23rd, 2013
Although it was back in 2008 when I visited the Rockefeller Center the last time, it felt like yesterday. I noticed though that the skyline had changed quite a bit. The building in the front center (between 46th & 47th streets) must have popped up out of the ground, as it's not even in Google Maps. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful day and at last, I could experience how Rockefeller enjoyed a sunny day's ending.
Adobe Photoshop CS6, Camera RAW 8.

Love this shot as I almost always do with your stuff. Makes me want to go back the NYC and take some photos. But, me being a small town guy, I do not like big cities much. Even the relatively small city of Portland, Oregon (in terms of big cities worldwide) is too big for me. God made me to live in small towns I guess. Nice one Dominic as usual. God Bless you for sharing.

@PumaPlatinum:
Many thanks for your kind words! Let me have a look whether I can build something like that...

Thank you for your comment. Originally, I'm also from a small town, but that shouldn't stand in your way of visiting NYC. It can get very busy, I agree. But once you're standing on top of either Rockefeller Center or the Empire State Building, you will forget about that pretty quickly. It's definitely worth a trip!

Absolute beauty as usual. Great view of the city. It makes me miss the city so nice they named it twice.
Only way is to get a more recent one with the new WTC

@pariahdise:
This picture is barely three weeks old (Oct 2013) so you could call it rather recent. The new WTC (Freedom Tower) even has the antenna on top.
