Great composition and color Nicolas. You and your brothers are inspiring and blessed to travel to so many places. Thanks again for another great shot and Merry Christmas!

Absolutely amazing. This is what photography is all about. Truly transcendental.

Please, sir, give us more. Beauty and awe are in short supply in the crass commercial world.

Beautiful color, symmetrical, perfectly balanced. The buildings in the distant are fabulous.

Obvious mirroring of left and right foreground images (arches, walkways, etc). Seems to be doctored extensively. The statement "somehow special" might be in reference to the Photoshop treatments to this image. Would like to see the original components. Still, using this as my wallpaper right now. I love symmetry - even if unnatural!

Thank you all again for your nice comments!

@Ray Lego, the image attached has been shot by another photograph just so can see that the place actually exists as you can see it on my image.

You are correct, it has been photoshopped in order to achieve the best result in terms of light/distance to the skyline etc.

I´m glad you like it anyway! ;-)

The fact that the guy behind the camera saw this view as something he could use. We all know that just because you have a camera the majority of us do not possess that instinct for the great shots,as this one surely is. Thanks, a small word but truly felt.
