Everything! Where do I start? I came a cross your photography while I was looking for a retina display wallpaper for my newly purchased laptop. I read your brief summary of the image that was captured. I can honestly say: you have a talent, especially if this is your first image. I'm not a photographer myself but I do have a good eye for things.

So what do I like about the image? The lake at that time of day looks amazing. Also the lighting which reflects off the shore is absolutely gorgeous. The image is almost monochromatic, with the blue hue from the sea, to the blue from the sky.
