Fort Bragg Sunset

June 20th, 2014

Sunset at Fort Bragg, California.

My first successful HDR. The guy beside me had hundreds of dollars in filters. I hope his shots came out this nice!

Adobe Lightroom 5.

Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.

So I submitted this photo quite a while ago. I've since realized how awesome filters are, and am surprised by my cockiness. I take it back!

Nice photograph, you have done well.
The figure does express the overall size of the scenery.

Also, there,s nothing wrong with a little cockiness now and then.

It's very pretty, yes, but I could not disagree more with Kendo (one of the commenters on this photo), I find the fact the figure is there confuses my sense of scale in the image. Honestly though, without the figure, I'd still be in the dark. Eventually I'm just distracted by how pretty the ocean looks though, and I forget about trying to determine the scale!
