This image was the result of a workshop with "Starving Photographer" Mahesh Thapa on July 11, 2014. Mahesh really emphasized that getting in the water and capturing several exposures would give the best results. Man, was he right.
Adobe Photoshop CS6.
B+W Circular Polarizer, and a microfiber cloth from Costco to wipe water off of the lens as much as possible.
Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM.
Photo Settings: 16mm, f/8, 1 second, ISO 100.

This looks very much like one on Falls Creek in Gifford Pinchot National Forest in south Washington :) Very nice shot
