Floating boats

By wyse
September 14th, 2014

Shot on a recent holiday to Croatia. One memory I will always have will be the boats floating on some of the clearest water I have seen, appearing as though they were in mid air.

Adobe Lightroom 5.3.

Nikon D610, Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD.

Photo Settings: 70mm, f/6, 1/160 second, ISO 100.

Great scene. We also have amazing scenes like these in Malta and Gozo. If by any chance you come visit don't forget your camera ;)

Fantastic aspect in this image. The sandy bottom of the water, turning to darker sea grass is great.

The OOF rock in the bottom centre of the image is distracting,- as is the very OOF grass stalks blocking the image detail on the RHS.
Maybe the crop could have lessened the RHS (and the grass stalks) and given more attention to the rock outcrop,- which is outstanding. IMHO.
