This is Waimea canyon, also known as the grand canyon of the Pacific. I took this photo while vacationing with my family in Kauai. It was one of the most beautiful places I've been, and the most exciting to photograph. Being a resident of Arizona I would have to say I like this canyon in Kauai much more than the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is nice to see, but it offers little in terms of contrast, being mainly brown dirt and brown rocks. Enjoy!

While Waimea canyon may look better on a nice day, the Grand Canyon in Arizona looks great for most time of the year due to much more clear days. ;)
