Drifting Away

July 1st, 2015

Early summer sunrise at Jekyll Island, Georgia, USA.

I noticed this beautiful area on the island called "Driftwood Beach". It was result of a massive hurricane in the 1800's which changed the land mass of the island. Driftwood Beach was an oak forest prior to the hurricane. The hurricane removed part of the forest leaving Driftwood Beach as gentle reminder of the power and fury which nature bestows upon planet earth.

ND8 Filter, Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Canon EOS Rebel T1i, Tokina AT-X 12-28mm f/4 Pro DX.

Photo Settings: 15mm, f/22, 1.3 seconds.

Extraordinary image - congrats!

I'm curious as to what the ND8 filter is. I have a great number of PS6 filters but couldn't identify this one.

@GoldBeachHiker: An ND8 filter is a 3-stop neutral density (non-colour specific) optical filter that you attach to your lense. Using an ND8 filter in Photoshop will void your warranty :-)
