I got a poster of Katsushika Hokusai's painting on my wall and I really like it. That Soggy has editing the original I found intersting, but why not admiting that??

Love the wallpaper, and the original artist HOKUSAI. BUT! Being an art major, critic and lover, this artist was never discussed until my university years, then just barely touched upon. Hokusai, full name Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), Japanese painter and wood engraver, born in Edo (now Tokyo). He is considered one of the outstanding figures of the Ukiyo-e, or "pictures of the floating world" (everyday life), school of printmaking.

Hmm, I was going to comment on the Great Wave thing - I actually have a print of it hanging on the door across from me right now - but it looks like several people have already beaten me to it. It would probably be a good idea to at least acknowledge the original artist in the summary to avoid looking like a plagiarist. Or, y'know. A douchebag.

YO PEOPLE! Relax! If you have an IQ higher than 8 you will recognize Hokusai immediately and knw that the Apple background and Hokusai wave is just a nice variation and not a rip-off. Jeez!

We all know it's obvious that it's a Hokusai on the OS X background, future reference include that information anyway, regardless of how obvious is seems, it will spare you all these comments. I do really like the final composition, it has a very clean feeling. I wish that you offered it in 2560x1600 so I could use it.
