Shame the full-size pics don't live up to the expectation of the thumbnail, if you know what I mean. A classic example of over-sharpening.

actually the image was not sharpend. it was shot on velvia 50 film on a tripod and then drum scanned with a hiedelburg machine. it was only color corrected. thanks for the critiques i have more images to follow.

I just got back from Hawaii a few weeks ago, and these pictures represent a taste of the side of Hawaii few realize... the raw, rugged beauty of the islands. I was actually on this road and witnessed these views first hand myself. What may look like the ugliest pile of crap to you now, is actually the birth of tropical paradise to come.

I say, beautiful shots!
