Alaskan Scenic Route
By benbrinker
December 18th, 2014
This is an access road in an incredible, fantasy-like mountain range that goes up to an old mine from the 1940's. It is located in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. I had the opportunity to stay in Alaska for three months on some photo assignments and every once in a while I made a few personal excursions.

Samosir View of Lake Toba
By Daniel Jiang
January 5th, 2015
The largest crater of the notorious Toba eruption that happened between 69,000 and 77,000 years ago - now a very beautiful and serene water body located in North Sumatra, Indonesia. In the middle of the lake is an island called Samosir. Samosir is the home of the indigenous Batak people that has spread across the nation. Now it becomes a place to visit on a holiday for its magnificent view of Lake Toba.
The view was shot on the water side of an accommodation in Tuktuk village early in the morning. It was shot in the rainiest season of the year (December), explaining the very cloudy atmosphere.
Adobe Lightroom 5.7.
