This is another photo of Mount Cook, which is the highest mountain in New Zealand and located in the Mount Cook / Aoraki National Park.
The lake in the foreground is Lake Pukaki, the small road on the left is State Highway 80 which leads to Mount Cook Village and the Tasman Glacier. This whole area is such a great place!
I really like the nearly perfect triangular shape of this mountain. I took this photo on the same day I took my Mount Cook Sunset picture - we just have been really lucky with the weather on this day.
I did just some really small color corrections on this photo.
Adobe Lightroom 5.6.

I just wanted to share this image of this amazing section of the Oregon Coast. For just a few minutes the sunlight lit up the rocks and cast an orange glow on everything. Down below, near the water, is one of my favorite spots to capture seascapes. Because of the nominal sunset this evening I did not hike down but instead just shot a couple pics of this large bowl, slowly being enlarged by winter wave action. I would estimate it is about 200 feet wide and maybe 80 feet deep.

Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. May, 2014.
This was shot at sunset, and then post-processed for the ominous look. You Tolkien fans out there will of course recognize that name. "Ered Gorgoroth" means "Mountains of Terror" and was the name of a mountain range in the north of Beleriand.
