Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, California.
Being fascinated by this iconic bridge, I spent the entire evening at this spot. After a spectacular sunset, the weather changed quite dramatically when entering into the blue hour. This resulted in an interesting foggy view where the horizon became indistinguishable from the sky.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5, Adobe Photoshop CC.

Taken from the top deck on the 102nd floor. At sixteen floors above the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building, it gives the most spectacular views of the city and beyond.
Clouds were gathering and slowly casting over the city which gave a very intense atmosphere. Enjoy!
Adobe Photoshop CS, NIK Color Efex.
Photo Settings: 14mm, f/2, 2 seconds, ISO 200.

The rapids above Triple Falls in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Taken in late October along the Oneonta Gorge.
As this was taken just before the "rainy" season began, I was able to set up my tripod in the creek without much trouble.
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom.

Looking across the Thames to the More London estate, with City Hall on the far left, and The Shard at the rear, dominating the London skyline.

Coastal redwood forests always make me feel like I've walked into a completely different landscape. This photograph was taken in Northern California's Muir Woods; the atmosphere there is completely different from that of San Francisco, just a few miles away.
