A car on the sea ice. Ice crystals in the air made the pillar effect to the sky. The temperature was over minus 20 degrees celsius. Looks like an explosion.

Sunset

January 27th, 2015

Getting to this location was a pain due to high tide, but was well worth it. Ten other photographers had the same idea. Six hiked through the rocks with us, two shot from the top, and another two didn't bother and shot across with a telephoto.

Zephyr Twilight

January 17th, 2015

I had the pleasure of photographing South Lake Tahoe last week. Not really knowing where to go, I discovered Zephyr Cove. The cloud formations there were unlike anything I had ever seen before. They were actually pretty suttle in this shot, but I loved the rest of it. If I just could of gotten the boat to move! This is two exposures combined in Photoshop.

Adobe Lightroom 5, Adobe Photoshop CC, Lee little stopper.

Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.
