Talacre lighthouse in North Wales. I love shooting lighthouses, they represent the very edge of the world, beacons out into the darkness. Sadly they are being shutdown now we have GPS. This is the very tip of North Wales just as the Dee estuary starts. I wanted to catch the light just after a storm and was lucky enough to catch the sunset.

Port Fontvieille at red sunset captured from "Le Rocher", Monaco. There is one week in October where Monaco turns red and deep orange during sunset. I had stunning cloud formations on that day which intensified the evening light behind La Turbie.

The Eiffel Tower glitters like this once every hour in the evenings. This means you really need to time your shots so that you aren't running around between different locations while it happens.
