I captured this a while back, but never submitted it because it is best viewed in a panoramic format, not 16x10. I finally decided to submit a cropped copy. It was created with three images. When I shot it I didn't really see the eye. But when I stitched the panorama it jumped out of the screen at me!

A nice sunset at Cape Arago on the Oregon Coast on the evening of February 2nd, 2014.

I had to dodge a few incoming waves at this mid-tide time. My wife stands watch to yell at me when a big incoming one makes me grab the tripod and run. Finally captured the reflections I wanted.

This distinctive rock formation is part of the geologically fascinating coastline. Cathedral Rocks has lured sightseers since 1890. These volcanic rocks, while intensely hard, have many joints. These joints have been eroded for many years, leaving these mysterious rock formations.

The rumor on Maui is that the highway that goes around the south is a tough drive. Its slow, but totally doable and has some of the best scenery on the island.

This view of Sydney CBD (Central Business District) and the Sydney Opera House was taken from the north shore of the harbor. Days of rain and overcast skies finally broke for a few colorful sunsets.
