Taken before sunrise because I forgot my ND filter. Three exposures, tone-mapped in Nik Software HDR Efex Pro plugin for Adobe Lightroom 4, then warmed up a bit using Nik Color Efex Pro.

I arrived shortly before sunrise to avoid the crowds of tourists that are usually found here. I used my wide angle lens to fit the entire circle into the shot, I under exposed by a stop to avoid blowing out the brightest parts of the sky.

A classic look, no doubt. Taken at Byron Bay; Australia's most eastern point looking back across the land "down under" as it is often affectionately dubbed.

The Sun peaked from the clouds just before it set beyond the mountains and turned the doom and gloom into a majestic light show for all to see.

Tripod. There is no Photoshop here.
