The Auckland's Aquarium hosts plenty of colorful creatures. But these dozens of clown fishes diving into the deep blue light offer the most beautiful show for the eyes.

One of my favorite places in the US (Yosemite). When in the valley you can almost get a 360 view of the entire park. Believe it or not this shot was taken from the heart of the valley. Spectacular views without much effort.

Lake Ohau is a glacial lake in the Mackenzie Basin of New Zealand's South Island. When I arrived at the lake, the last beams of sunlight shed across the mountain range and I had only minutes to take these photos. The strong winds in this area didn't really help. View from Victoria Peak onto Hong Kong, Kowloon and the surrounding areas.

Taken with Canon EOS 5DS R and the Zeiss Milvus 18mm lens, the sharpness and the level of detail are absolutely insane. You will need some time to practice because there is no autofocus on those lenses but its so much fun (and results are so insane) once you got used to it.

Composite of one of my Iceland Aurora shots (available on my homepage as wallpaper) and an old photo of Bannalpsee (Lake Bannalp) in Switzerland.

Once I finished combining the Aurora sky with the once daylight scenery of Bannalpsee, I used Flaming Pear's great Photoshop plugin -Flood- to create the Aurora reflections. I little tweak merges both layers so that the original ripples are combined with the new "fake" ripples of the Aurora sky. Then I mostly corrected minor artifacts and color fringing and last but not least, used Nik Color Efex to play around with the colors.
