Located on Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort is a man-made beach resort that gives a very great view of sunsets every single day. Shot on the rocky side of the small private beach provided by the resort over-viewing the Sunset Bar in the vicinity.

Jökulsárlón is the most famoust glacier lagoon of southeast Iceland.

Floating ice, stagnant water and a blue overview. Very popular with tourists and photographers, and if you have time... make a journey to the lagoon.

Shot at sunset in Pafos, Cyprus, looking at the EDRO III shipwreck - resting mere meters away from the shore.

The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III ran aground off Pegeia on 8 December 2011 in heavy seas, during a voyage to Rhodes, from Limassol, Cyprus with a cargo of plasterboard. At the time of the accident, the ship had nine crew members - seven Albanians and two Egyptians. The crew were rescued and airlifted to the safety of Paphos by a local British Military helicopter.

The EDRO III weighs about 2,345 tons and is over 80 meters in length.

This is a shot from a morning excursion to the beach. This 17-minute shot was taken at 4:50am before the sunrise in almost complete darkness. I brought a beach chair and relaxed while this picture was taken.

Although I absolutely love my trusty Canon 17-40mm f4L lens, I finally decided to upgrade to a 16-35mm f4L. What better way to test it than a weekend at the coast with the family! This is hands down one of the best sunsets I've seen at the Oregon Coast.
