Melting Earth
By s1Mon.at
July 17th, 2012
This picture was taken during an extended trekking tour through the Nepalese Himalayas. Reaching an appropriate altitude, you'll get magically colored glacial lakes. Easiest one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen!

Amazing Mirror Sunset
August 15th, 2012
The lake you can see is the "Schrecksee" which is above Hinterstein in Bavaria, Germany.
Our hike up there took two and a half hours with 16kg on our shoulders. It was worth every minute of effort. I hope you like it!

Pollinate

September 6th, 2012
There were lots of bees buzzing around in the park so I tried to get a few shots with my macro lens. I thought this one came out good. They were moving from one flower to the next in a matter of seconds so it was hard to catch one in focus.

Silent storm
By Blake123
October 24th, 2012
From my flat in Barcelona I noticed some flashes outside. After investigating I realised there was a giant storm over the Mediterranean. It was far enough away to be completely silent. A perfect photo opportunity.
The photo was saturated yellow because of the light pollution from the street lights below so I changed the temperature to what it really looked like.

My first attempt to fake tilt shift image processing in GIMP. I used one of my old Tatra Mountains photos.
Albion Falls
November 26th, 2012
This shot was taken at Albion Falls in Hamilton, Ontario.
A Lee 10-stopper was used to produced silky water. I believe it was 5-minute exposure. I did not have my 3-stop neutral density filter with me or else i could have achieved the same result with less time. Post-processing in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.

Kapalua Sunset
March 19th, 2013
After climbing over some dangerous rocks off the coast of Maui, I ended up in the perfect spot to capture the sunset. It was definitely worth it!
