Pebble rocks

September 20th, 2012

Pebbles stacked like hanoi towers on a beach on Leman lake, Amphion, France.

I really enjoyed such diversity of shape and colors, the evening light was just awesome.

Pebble beaches are definitely better than sand!

Shiny Sky

June 28th, 2007

Taken in Saint-Basile, Qu├ębec, Canada with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I used a technique called HDR to get the maximum luminance into the picture. I also applied a tone mapping to get rich colors.

Majestic

November 6th, 2014

This is Waimea canyon, also known as the grand canyon of the Pacific. I took this photo while vacationing with my family in Kauai. It was one of the most beautiful places I've been, and the most exciting to photograph. Being a resident of Arizona I would have to say I like this canyon in Kauai much more than the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is nice to see, but it offers little in terms of contrast, being mainly brown dirt and brown rocks. Enjoy!

Adobe Lightroom 5.6, Sigma 17-50mm F/2.8 FLD HSM.

Sony SLT-A58.

Photo Settings: 35mm, f/8, 1/200 second, ISO 100.

Red Sand

August 22nd, 2011

Taken early morning on the road of the Sossusvlei Park, Namibia. The contrast between the sky and the dunes is spectacular, adding to this, a little tree standing up at the edge of the desert.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II with the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM shot at at f/5, 1/250 second. Adjustments in Adobe Lightroom 3 and Adobe Photoshop CS5.5.
