This is Bryce Canyon, Utah. The Sun was setting in front of us and created a highlight behind the hoodoos. Apart from the light, the sand sediments have created a wonderful range of orange and red tones. I hope this fragile environment will stay this way for many more years!

This one i took a while ago, but is one of my favorites. I can remember walking out on this jetty and looking up into the sky, it felt like time had stopped and like nothing before, it was quiet an amazing moment for me.

Had a break in the weather so I took advantage of a British Columbia sunrise. Taken on the Courtenay side of the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, Canada. Looking east across the Georgia Strait.

This is in the evening just after a storm, taken around September.

Taken New Years Day 2008 at Zuma Beach: Malibu, California . Probably the best sunset I've ever seen there. No post-processing or color distortions; looked exactly the same to the eye. Shot with a Nikon D40 camera and a 28-70mm f/2.8 lens.

The road between Queenstown and Glenorchy was shut due to a rock fall, so waiting on the side of the road the clouds started to break as the sun came up. The colors were stunning.

Canon EOS 500D, 18-55IS lens, shot at 18mm. ƒ/8, 1/60s. I added contrast and saturation in Adobe Lightroom 2.
