I captured this lovely image while traveling through Skagit County, Washington on a day teetering between sun and rain. The final Photoshop file is a composite that weighs in at about two gigabytes!

This is one of my favorite spots to take photos in Seattle. I have a previous wallpaper titled Alki Beach Sunrise from 2013 that was taken from this same spot. This particular evening in July 2014 provided some of the best colors I've seen here.
