Tracks to Nowhere
By Chris Gin
February 26th, 2009
I know this won't appeal to the masses - it's not your typical wallpaper. But someone did comment in one of my previous submissions that I should also take photos of 'less pretty' things. How about some ugly railway tracks?

5 exposure HDR. Taken from the new walkway in Chapala, Mexico. I was in Mexico last week for a one week vacation. The weather was colder than normal and it rained several days, but those clouds made for wonderful sunsets. Enjoy all! Thanks for voting!!!

Lower Falls, Yellowstone
By Dominic Kamp
December 14th, 2009
The lower falls at Yellowstone National Park are 308 feet (94 meters) high, or almost twice as high as Niagara. They descend from the 590,000 year old Canyon Rhyolite lava flow and are the largest volume major waterfall in the Rocky Mountains.
I took this photo in August 2009 during my road trip through Montana and Alberta.
