A blue dragonfly on a blue pond at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Madison, Wisconsin. The diagonal line formed by the stone fits perfectly into this picture.

A newly hatched lime butterfly (Papilio Demoleus) rests on my windowsill. I took a photo while it was drying its wings. After several minutes it flew away.

I took this macro photo while on a trip to Thailand last Winter. I saw the fly land on the leaf and got my tripod out and set up. I took some shots from a distance away and approached gradually, but the fly remained on the leaf. This photo is the closest I got before he flew away. The most photogenic fly I ever met.
