Yes indeed, this is another masterpiece. Clouds seem a little fuzzy, but it is a jaw dropper. My new Wallpaper. Thank you.

The tree blocking the sun is an refreshing change from the typical sunset photos. All in all an excellent desktop. Thanks!

Already downloaded. Thanks.

If I stare looking at the branches I almost see them moving with the breeze.

There is a little error in the fake tree shade (or so it seems) as it does not match with the base of the tree.

Macindows: you make IFL worth to visit.

I could bet 1000 euros that this is Macindows just by looking at the thumbnail.

You have managed to keep the quality of your wallpapers on the same very high standard mate, well done

I have one question though. Is the image, composition wise, just as you photographed it or have you edited it? cause the shadow of the tree blocking the sun looks a bit weird. I would expect to see a long shadow of the trunk coming towards the camera and the shadow of the foliage to be closer to the camera. But again, maybe i am reading it wrong

Nevertheless this is a beautiful piece and thanks for sharing it along with all the others

Thank you all for your comments and compliments! Next week I'm going to fly to Norway and visit Troll's Tongue and Prekestolen so stay tuned for some new Fjord wallpapers and with a little bit of luck, Auroras.

@Antonis7:
That's indeed a bit weired. I didn't see that when I took the photos. Regarding the post processing, the only thing I did was:
- HDR Processing in Photoshop CS5
- Darkening the sky and decreasing color saturation
- Adding a little red to the sun
- Removing a tree which was sticking out on the far left side.
Maybe there was someting standing in front of the tree? I will upload a cropped series of the 7 HDR images though, just to be sure. ;-)

My new wallpaper. Congrats on this beautiful picture. Weird how most of the time its your pieces that replace my wallpapers.

Great job!!

well you dont need to prove your word by uploading the cropped series Macindows. i do believe you :-)

Its just that my architecture training has taut my eye to spot things that physically do not look quite right and correct them in my own compositions at least. ( for example those clouds in your lonesome dune composition :-) )

In this occasion maybe the fact that the tree is hiding the sun, actually tricks us by making us think that the sun is in a slightly different position from the one it actually is, or the structure of the tree on the other side causes the weird shadow, or indeed maybe something is standing infront of it

Again this is a stunning piece of work and i am really looking forward to see your photographs from the Auroras ( hopefully :-) )
